I'm totally with you Ted. I have been feeling this nagging guilt. I breathed a sigh of relief when last night Pete and I talked about it - the first time on our busy schedules we've even brought it up. I'm trying to think of something I can do as well...

Just finished reading The Lost Smybol -Dan Brown.
It goes on about how the mind/soul are seperate from the body, has its own mass and ability to affect others.
(In the book this is a power they dont want unleashed an harvested by the wrong people).

I'm not surprised you're sensing all that is going on.
Anyone who has felt a spouse, sibling, child, friend in pain, sorrow, joy, can sense it.

As much as I hate to say it I think Brian has the right idea. Ted you might need to have a drum circle on Sunday or Monday :)

It's just the opposite for me. I watch tv and listen to the radio quite a bit. I think I came out of a funk around the 12th. I've found extreme gratitude and realized my problems are bullshit compared to 150,000 dead and 1 million homeless. I really take living in this country for granted. Good post Mr. Wallace.

I was having the same problems and came to the same conclusion. I tend to be a bit *too* empathetic, but it's not hard to feel the vibes since every one in the world seems focused on Haiti and what is happening there. I'm like you - I don't read the newspaper, watch the news or read much of it on the internet (bad for the psyche) but somehow I'm pretty aware. And praying for them, too.

I'm a skeptic at heart, but I think it's definitely possible or probable that the various life energies of the world are linked in some non-supernatural way, such that disturbances in "the Force" can be felt globally. Luminous beings are we! (Crap...) I wonder how many chronic depressives are merely super-sensitive to bummer vibes traveling the global network. It makes you wonder if the tinfoil hat types have the right idea...but I won't go down that path.
