Ok, my dear readers, you weenies:
I am once again putting out the call for Feedback! Thusfar, this blog has been a delightful and rewarding experimental experience. I truly enjoy the feedback I get from you and do my best to incorporate all that I can. My reward comes when my stats plugin says that lots of people are reading, so I am here (to a certain extent) at your service. Don’t be shy – comment! Throw in a comment to a post you like or don’t like, I see them all. Send me an email with your critiques and criticisms: QuixoticJedi[at]gmail[dot]com.
What did you think of Rap Appreciation Week? What have I written that you enjoyed? What have you shared on Facebook? What sucked? What made you want to find something else to read? Give it to me; I can take it.
Here’s a hook – we’ll see if anyone bites: follow me on Twitter. I’m still working my way around that system, so if you know all about Twitter and have suggestions, please, let’s have them.
As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I’ve been doing some re-prioritizing of things. Here’s what I have planned for this blog in the near future: monetization. I want to see if I can get this thing to pay for itself, and maybe help me get my ass out of the red – $100k in student loans at (arguably) predatory interest rates does not make for a well-sleeping Ted. I’m going to add a PayPal donation button to the Donations page, and maybe even an Amazon Wishlist button as well, to make it easier for you to give me money. I just signed up with Google AdSense, so I’ll be strategically placing a few ads on the page.
Who are you that reads this blog? Tell me about yourself. Besides the fact that I need to know my demographic in order to put up the right ads, I care. I want to know who you are, what you think about, and what you want to read about. Eye heart typing my heart out for you.
Once I have a few ads placed and the various donations buttons up and running, I plan to go out to some of the groups to which I belong on LinkedIn and ask for feedback as well. And I belong to a lot of groups: several Mensa groups, several blogging groups, and a handful of others that relate specifically to my work-life (corporate governance consulting and proxy solicitation). Don’t worry, I have another blog that covers those topics. This one is for fun – for me and for you.

Please no more R.A.W.
Write something interesting.
Ok. And I’ll try to be more cynical, too.
I can read between your line.
