“prince effen charming”
I’m a slightly eccentric intellectual looking for romance. In lieu of romance: good conversation. Yes, I’ll settle for good conversation first. I’m here to MEET people. Let’s get a cup of coffee and talk.
I’m an honest altruist who’s chivalrous but also cavalier. I’m ecclectic enough in my tastes that I can always find something to eat on the menu.* I enjoy being in the company of happy people, but I want to be there when you’re sad, too.
I’m fairly self-confident, but not arrogant. I’m trustworthy and looking for the same. If anyone’s qualified to laugh at me, it’s me. Others would say that I’m ambitious, but I think I’m just passionate about the things that are important to me. If happiness and serenity are paramount, money follows as a matter of course. I have a philosophy degree and a law degree, but I’m an entrepreneur at heart.
I go hiking on the weekends, take yoga classes here and there, and consider my bike and my longboard alternative forms of transportation (though I do love driving). I play golf when I can (generally with my brother, sister, and brother-in-law). I’m slowly teaching myself bass guitar and really taking my time writing that novel.
I’m an excellent cook and kisser and I can fix stuff.
I enjoy reading & writing, but not so much ‘rithmetic.
I’m looking for someone laid-back and comfortable with herself. I’m NOT into drama or social games. I don’t want to be someone’s project, nor am I looking for one of my own. A good friend of mine told me that I need a “whole person”, and I think she’s right. That doesn’t mean you have to have it all figured out – I certainly don’t – I’m just looking for someone to walk the earth with who has a can-do attitude and a positive vibe.
If you’ve read this far, I’m impressed. The pics I currently have posted are not the greatest, but it’s all I’ve got right now. If I’ve emailed you, you can trust that I’ve read your profile thoroughly and I am truly interested in meeting you. I’m not into the “blast-fax” style of internet dating; it was a considered decision on my part to contact you.
*I don’t care if the rest of the world thinks the correct spelling is “eclectic”; they’re wrong.
